OnLive's Tom DuBois confirmed for Festival of Games

Executive producer to speak at Utrecht event in April

OnLive's executive producer Tom DuBois will be speaking at the Festival of Games in Utrecht, Netherlands, this April, discussing the advent of cloud gaming and its effect on the industry.

OnLive was the first cloud gaming service to be announced, and has been online in the US since June last year. In October, the company changed its pricing model to drop the subscription fee it had initially adopted and has since announced plans for a movie streaming service and incorporation into several Vizio products.

"Last year the Festival of Games announced the theoretical potential of cloud gaming when it was about to be released, and six months later we see the first results. I can think of no better person then Tom Dubois, with the longest track record, to match the theoretical ideas with recent results and upcoming challenges and opportunities," said the Festival of Games chairman Seth van der Meer.

The Festival of Games will take place 28-29 April, 2011, at the Jaarbeurs in the Netherlands town of Utrecht. Booking details are available at the event's website.
