NovaLogic and IGUK launch Joint Ops: Escalation tournaments
Calling all Joint Ops fans to compete for top prizes!
London, UK (January 5th, 2005) - Entertainment software developer and publisher NovaLogic, Ltd. today announced that Joint Ops: EscalationTM, the brand new expansion pack to the groundbreaking multiplayer FPS title Joint Operations®: Typhoon RisingTM, will be featured as a regular league fixture, at Interactive Gaming UK (IGUK), the UK association of LAN Gaming Centres.
Running now until March 2005, Joint Ops: EscalationTM tournaments, sponsored by Plantronics, will take place every Tuesday, in over 80 gaming IGUK centres around the UK. Every week gamers will be given the chance to participate in mammoth 150 player battles to compete for fantastic prizes which include a pot of £200 cash, top of the range Plantronics headsets and the ultimate end of the season prize of an Alienware PC!!
Each week participants' points are converted to virtual raffle tickets, with better performing players accruing more tickets. At the end of each evening, tickets will be placed in a raffle with the lucky winners being awarded instant cash prizes.
At the end of the 20-week season, players will be able to enter all the tickets they have accumulated from the season into a huge super draw to win a top of the range Alienware PC.
