NCsoft Europe reveals show line-up

NCsoft Europe has announced the products it will be putting on display at this year's Technology Retailer Show, which will take place at the Birmingham NEC on April 12 and 13.

The company, which describes itself as "the world's leading developer and publisher of online computer games," will exhibit three games in total. These will include Guild Wars, a fantasy-based MMORPG, and Auto Assault, another MMO game which combines vehicular combat with role-playing elements.

The third title is the award-winning City of Heroes, which was released in February and allows players to create their own comic book superhero. NCsoft is currently engaged in a legal battle with Marvel over the game.

"We recognise that PC retailers are an important channel for our product range," said NCsoft's sales and operations director Max Brown. "We now need to demonstrate to them the additional revenue streams afforded by online games and the incremental value offered by ancillary products such as time cards."

"Retailers will be able to get hands on with the latest online games on our stand and will see for themselves exactly why their customers will appreciate them stocking NCsoft titles," he added.

Visitors to the show will find NCsoft on stand 1094 in Hall 1.
