London MCM Expo 2010

Atari to bring along Blade Kitten to next month's event at Excel.

29-31 OCTOBER – EXCEL LONDON – ROYAL VICTORIA DOCK

Atari Europe are the latest top publisher to confirm their attendance at the next London MCM Expo, which is held at Excel on 29-31 October and closes out the month-long London Games Festival. Visitors to Atari’s stand will have the chance to get up close and personal with new anime-inspired platformer, Blade Kitten.

Based on the comic book series by Steve Stamatiadis, Blade Kitten sees players take on the role of pink-haired bounty hunter Kit Ballard; part cat, part girl and fully lethal. Fighting their way through 19 levels, including three exploration levels with rideable alien mount Noot, players will get to experience Blade Kitten’s innovative gameplay mechanics, striking visuals and intuitive ‘scramble style’ exploration.

Available via Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Network and PC download , Blade Kitten goes beyond most downloadable titles to deliver a strong narrative, high-quality cinematics, fully voiced dialogue and compelling arcade action.

In other videogame news, voice actor Roger Craig Smith has also confirmed that he will be attending the London MCM Expo, signing autographs for fans on the Saturday and Sunday of the show.

Well known for his game, anime, TV and film work, Roger’s most recent projects include providing the voice of Ezio in Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed 2 and Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood and Chris Redfield in Capcom’s Resident Evil 5 and Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles. Other games he has worked on include Sega’s Mad World; Lucas Arts’ Fracture and Konami’s Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots.

Atari Europe is the latest games publisher to confirm their presence at London MCM Expo, joining Nintendo; EA Games; Ubisoft; Tecmo Koei; Capcom; Warner Bros. Games; Bandai Namco; Rising Star Games and Zen United.
