Konami to close Hudson Soft

Bomberman developer to be absorbed into Konami Digital Entertainment

Metal Gear Solid publisher Konami has confirmed that it will dissolve developer Hudson Soft on March 1.

Andriasang reported that the Bomberman developer will be absorbed into Konami Digital Entertainment, but there is no news as yet as to how the move will affect Hudson Soft's franchises.

Konami acquired the development studio on 2005, after the development studio approached it for assistance following serious losses.

As well as Bomberman, the studio, which was founded in 1973, crated Star Solider, Bonk and Adventure Island.
