King of Kings 3

New details on the MMORPG announced at gamescom.

Hamburg, 20th August 2009 - gamigo AG, a leading European publisher of massively multiplayer online games (MMOGs), today revealed more details on the already announced free to play MMORPG King of Kings 3. gamigo has just released new and exclusive gameplay footage at gamescom in Cologne, as it prepares for the release of the third part of the wildly popular Asian MMORPG series.

Even those who have stayed at home can get a first impression of this new RPG – simply go to http://mediaclients.gamigo.de/videos/kok3-GCom-160809.wmv to download the new trailer. In addition, players are invited to visit the preview page at http://kok3.gamigo.com to pre-register for the closed beta phase, which begins early next year.

Who will be king of kings?

In King of Kings 3, players can explore a huge and diverse fantasy world. A versatile housing system offers each character its own individually furnished accommodation.

Numerous mini-games, such as fishing and dancing as well as a huge selection of pets and mounts bring extra fun.

But the real focus of King of Kings 3 is on PvP and RvR combat: players may create clans, found kingdoms and even build cities, each entirely customisable and can be attacked by rivals. Which kingdom will come out on top? Which player will become king of kings?

"King of Kings 3 is the flagship of our portfolio in the new year.” said Patrick Streppel, gamigo’s CMO. "In addition to the extensive PvE content, it is above all the unique PvP and guild wars that have already thrilled millions of players in Taiwan and will be a sensation in Europe!"

The release of the German and the English versions of the game is planned for early 2010.
