Key Nintendo execs to leave company

Three key executives at Nintendo of America are leaving the company, along with approximately 90 per cent of NoA's sales and marketing staff from the firm's Redmond headquarters.

Rumours have emerged that three key executives at Nintendo of America are leaving the company, along with approximately 90 per cent of NoA's sales and marketing staff at the firm's Redmond headquarters.

According to a report on GameInformer, Beth Llewelyn, senior director of PR, Perrin Kaplin, VP of marketing and corporate affairs and George Harrison, senior VP of marketing and corporate communications are all leaving their roles.

The news follows recent reports that Nintendo has decided to relocate the company's sales and marketing division to offices in San Francisco and New York, with employees given the option to move.

Nintendo of America has yet to comment on the situation and a representative for Nintendo UK was unavailable at the time of publication.
