iPhone 4S hits China January 13

Expansion to 21 other countries this month for Apple device

Apple has confirmed that the iPhone 4S will launch in China and 21 other countries on January 13.

"Customer response to our products in China has been off the charts," said CEO Tim Cook. "With the launch in China next week, iPhone 4S will be available in over 90 countries making this our fastest iPhone rollout ever."

With iOS 5, the iPhone 4S comes with over 200 new features including Siri voice assistant, 1080p HD video recording and a dual-core A5 chip.

When released in the West, the 4S sold over 4 million units in in just three days, making it the fastest-selling phone ever.
