Indie studio AtomJack closes

Developer announces news on social media

Indie studio AtomJack has just announced it's shutting down. The developer was working on its first title, an action adventure game for PC and console with the codename Wayward.

It hasn't made the reasons for the closure public, but thanked fans for their support.

The Seattle studio was founded in November 2013 by the co-creators of Plants vs. Zombies 2 and Peggle 2.

The company asked on social media that people forward on any job leads to help staff.

"We're hoping our team can land on their feet."

We've reached out to AtomJack for more detail.
