IN-FUSIO announces UK launch of BANJO-KAZOOIE(r) Grunty's Revenge: Missions based on the video game developed by Rare Limited

UK, London, March 14 2005 - IN-FUSIO, the publisher of top-of-the-range games for mobile phones, today announces the launch of BANJO-KAZOOIE Grunty's Revenge: Missions, based on the Game Boy Advance (GBA) blockbuster developed by Rare Studios. The game, made under license from Microsoft Corporation, is immediately available to UK gamers from O2 for Java-enabled handsets. The game will also be available to Java- and ExEn-enabled handsets from Orange UK by the end of the month.

BANJO-KAZOOIE Grunty's Revenge: Missions

Based on the legendary GBA game, re-discover Banjo-Kazooie on your mobile! The evil Gruntilda has returned, and captured Banjo's best friend Kazooie. Take control of Banjo, meet many hilarious characters and face new and dangerous challenges as you try to recover the magical Jiggies that will free your feathered friend. If you fail, Kazooie will be trapped forever. To rescue her, complete up to 10 mini-challenges, based on classic arcade games, and collect all the puzzle pieces. Once collected, by rearranging them correctly you'll break the spell and free Kazooie.

Mission 1: Egg Scramble: Go down the slide and collect the eggs, while avoiding the spikes that will make Banjo spin out of control.

Mission 2: Sheep Dip: Use your rod to catch as many sheep as you can before the timer runs out. Press the attack button to cast; hold attack when casting to catch sheep farther away.

Mission 3: Shooting Ship. Use the cannon to fire eggs to catch pirates, but remember that they also may hit you.

Mission 4: Grubby Chute: Slide down the chute and collect the glow grubs along the way. Avoid the spikes because they'll make Banjo spin out of control.

Mission 5: Fishing: Press the attack button to cast your rod; by holding attack while casting you'll be able to catch fish that are farther away. Mission 6: Fight Gruntilda: Gruntilda is trying to escape. Shoot off the parts of Gruntilda, but beware she shoots back.

Mission 7: Slide o' Fear: Slide down the chute and collect as many coins as you can. Slide over the red and yellow arrows for a speed boost, but avoid the tar patches that slow you down.

Mission 8: Magic Angler: Get as many fish into the barrels as you can before the time runs out, but don't catch any snippets, they'll give you a nasty pinch.

Mission 9: Gold Rush: Collect the gold coins, but avoid the springy spikes and sticky tar. Slide over the arrows for a speed boost.

Mission 10: Frozen Fish: Catch the fish with your rod, but watch out for the crabs. This time you can only see the shadows under the water until you reel in your rod. As the crabs usually move slower than the fish, avoid the slow moving shadows.

You will need to complete each challenge to move onto the next. Fail a challenge and you will have to start from the beginning. Points/Scores: Points allocation depends on the results for each game (for example the number of fish you've collected). Once you have collected all the puzzle pieces, by completing all the challenges, you will be able to free Kazooie. Re-arrange the puzzle pieces yourself for bonus points or click on the "solve" button to finish the puzzle automatically. Then why not re-play the game on the next difficulty level?

"BANJO-KAZOOIE Grunty's Revenge: Missions is our new challenge. We always wanted to keep top quality and make sure that the game stays as authentic as possible. Fans of Banjo-Kazooie on N64 or GBA will rediscover the characters alongside the fantastic and fun atmosphere of the original game. Plus the playability has been specially studied for this version for mobiles. We think this game combines all the ingredients necessary for the player to enjoy it thoroughly", adds Richard Moureaud, IN-FUSIO Product Manager.

BANJO-KAZOOIE Grunty's Revenge: Missions is available from O2 for the following Java-enabled handsets:

Nokia: 7260, 3200, 3100, 7210, 3220, 7200, 6230, 6220, 7200, 6280, 6610i, 7250i, 6630, 3650 and 3510i. Motorola: V547, V220 and V3. Samsung: E800 and z107.
