Human Head joins Shinra Technologies accelerator

"Gives our engineers and designers the ability to develop new and ground-breaking gameplay"

Shinra Technologies' Prototype Accelerator program has a new member in Lost Within developer Human Head Studios.

"Human Head Studios is excited to partner with Shinra Technologies to bring our shared vision to life," said creative director Ted Halsted.

"Our team is passionate about multiplayer and Shinra's unique platform gives our engineers and designers the ability to develop new and ground-breaking gameplay."

The progam launched in February and is designed to "assist proven development teams in navigating the most challenging obstacle in any game's development-the prototype phase-Shinra's goal is to encourage and stimulate the creation of bold, new video game concepts designed around its advanced 'super-computing' cloud technology," and is aimed at developers frustrated by the limits of current tech.

"We're delighted to be working with Human Head in pushing the boundaries of supercomputer-powered gaming," added Shinra Technologies' director of partnerships, Colin Williamson.

"Their concept is one that couldn't be executed on any other platform, and we can't wait to see it in action."

Seattle-based studios Camouflaj and Hardsuit Labs have already signed up to the Prototype Accelerator.
