God of War, Marvel's Spider-Man lead nominations for 22nd annual DICE Awards

Red Dead Redemption 2, Return of the Obra Dinn also see numerous mentions

With 12 nominations, God of War has overwhelmingly dominated the roster of honorees at the 22nd annual DICE Awards ahead of the show in February.

God of War is closely followed by Marvel's Spider-Man with 11 nominations, while Red Dead Redemption 2 and Return of the Obra Dinn also saw several mentions at eight and six, respectively. Other games that saw four nominations total include Astro Bot Rescue Mission, Detroit: Become Human, Florence, and Into the Breach.

The winners will be awarded on February 13, 2019 at the 2019 DICE Summit, with the ceremony co-hosted by Kinda Funny's Greg Miller and Nerdist News' Jessica Chobot. Microsoft Corporate VP Bonnie Ross and head of 343 Industries Bonnie Ross will also be honored at this time as this year's Hall of Fame recipient.
