London, UK – 8 th January 2011

Pro gamer consumer lobby group Gamers’ Voice are to hold a special event with MP’s and video game industry representatives at the House of Commons this Wednesday. Politicians of all parties have been invited to come and play video games with Gamers’ Voice members.

The Video Games industry will be well represented at this event with well known industry names in attendance, including

Ian Livingstone - Eidos Paul Wedgewood – Splash Damage Miles Jacobson OBE – Sports Interactive Jon Hare - Tower Studios  

In addition to the members of the video games industry, the charity SpecialEffect will be demonstrating to MPs some of their modified cutting edge technology, designed to help young people with disabilities enjoy computer games.

The event is scheduled for Wednesday 12 th January 2011 in the Macmillan room, Portcullis House.
