GameInvest inks RealGames deal extension

Portuguese developer and online casual games publisher to collaborate on additional titles

Portugal-based games developer GameInvest has announced that it has signed an extension to its deal with online casual games publisher RealGames to create a new title for Europe, the US and Latin America.

RealGames - a unit of RealNetworks - will publish and distribute the as-yet-unnamed game, as well as owning the resulting IP.

"Collaborating with RealGames' team of veteran producers always enables us to explore new ideas and successfully bring those new ideas to fruition," said Mariana Cardoso, GM of GameInvest. "Working with the RealGames team is always a pleasure and truly a collaborative effort between both teams on a daily basis, which we believe is an extremely valuable development experience."

This new title will add to GameInvest's catalogue of products developed in the past two years, which include Toy Shop Tycoon, Defenders of Law and Enigma 7, and follows the original deal with RealGames which was signed in May last year.
