Playboy: The Mansion and Sid Meier's Pirates Showcase Innovative 3D Graphics

LONDON AND CHAPEL HILL, N.C., (September 2, 2004) - NDL announced today that its Gamebryo® 3D graphics engine and tools is being showcased in Playboy: The Mansion and Sid Meier's Pirates! at Game Stars Live, the European Games Network (EGN)'s consumer international interactive entertainment event held in London September 1-5, 2004. Gamebryo enables these developers and publishers to focus on creating stunning content and gameplay while saving development time and cost.

Playboy: The Mansion, developed by Cyberlore Studios, is a highly anticipated game co-published by ARUSH Entertainment and Groove Games. The title, on display at UbiSoft's booth, blends state-of-the-art social simulation with traditional role-playing and empire-building gameplay. Playboy: The Mansion demonstrates the cross-platform and graphics capabilities of Gamebryo as well as the product's ability to integrate with proprietary, internal engines.

Sid Meier's Pirates! is one of the most anticipated titles this year and will be on display at Atari's booth. With the use of Gamebryo, the game's developer, Firaxis, will carry on the great design tradition of the award-winning original while also delivering updated gameplay, stunning new features and spectacular 3D graphics. Pirates! provides players the opportunity to experience the intrigue, adventure and danger of life as a pirate on the Spanish Main.

NDL's Gamebryo is continuing its tradition of helping development teams create stunning 3D graphics on time and in budget. To see how Gamebryo is revolutionizing game development and how to receive a Gamebryo evaluation kit, visit www.gamebryo.com.
