Future's GamesRadar News Destination Unveils New Look And Capabilities

South San Francisco, CA (February 25, 2008) -- Future US, the leading publisher of cutting-edge special interest magazines and websites, unveiled an exciting new look for GamesRadar ( http://www.gamesradar.com), its fast-growing worldwide games news destination.

In response to user feedback and comments from both sides of the Atlantic, Future's US-based development spent months building the brand new GamesRadar.com from the ground-up. The relaunched site showcases GamesRadar's trademark edgy and deep content in an attractive, exciting and user-friendly environment.

GamesRadar's new and improved user experience unfolds in several ways:

Even better looking than before: Looks do count on GamesRadar - after all, when it comes to games themselves, it's all about the eye candy. The site is now a great storefront for the innovative, informative, original, challenging and plain ol' weird video game stories the GR editorial team dream up daily. GamesRadar is now much easier on the eye and easier to get around. The ultimate in user-friendliness: "Multi-view list pages" allow users to customize how they view the site's data, flexible article templates, and RSS feeds for literally every piece of list data on the site. Improved search: GamesRadar has reformatted its database, drastically improving the quality and quantity of searches for anything and anybody in the games world. Even richer media: For the ultimate in user interaction, GamesRadar now has the slickest and quickest streaming video player and screen shot viewer.

"Over the last year we've concentrated on developing GamesRadar's editorial content, making it stand out among an Internet's worth of pedestrian games coverage," says Future US publishing director Simon Whitcombe. "Now with these major interface design and technical upgrades, the site is already seeing an increase in visits and page impressions. With these changes, we believe that GamesRadar will be even stronger in 2008 and beyond."
