MALIBU, Calif. – August 27, 2009 – Abandon Interactive Entertainment is now running two contests for the growing Freaky Creatures community, giving them to chance to win fun prizes including Freaky Creatures starter packs and f.y.e. gift cards. Players can choose to participate in two different contests, Freaky Story and Freaky Difference, which are both now open to free and premium members in the Freaky Creatures universe. In the Creature Story competition, players can let their imaginations take over, as they are tasked to write a short story about Freaky Creatures. Participants are encouraged to write either a humorous, scary, or adventurous story about Freaky Creatures, with the winning entry getting published in a future issue of Beckett Pokemon Unofficial Collector’s magazine, in addition to receiving a complete set of Freaky Creatures collectible action figures and a six-month premium subscription to Freaky Creatures. Stories are limited to 200-300 words and entries must be submitted to contest@freakycreatures.com by Monday, August 31, 2009.

Freaky Difference is a fun, new activity for players challenging them to find 15 things wrong between two similar pictures that appear to be exactly the same at first glance. The first five people to email contest@freakycreatures.com with the correct list of 15 things wrong with the image will receive an f.y.e. gift card. The first person to provide all of the correct answers will win an f.y.e. $50 gift card. The second place winner will receive a $30 gift card, while third, fourth, and fifth place winners will each receive a $20 gift card.
