Fourth Floor acquires video production company Explosive Alan

Media division will continue to operate as a separate business and work closely with Fourth Floor Creative

Advertising service provider Fourth Floor has acquired video production company Explosive Alan.

Founded in 2017, it has collaborated with gaming firms such as Ubisoft, Square Enix, and NetEase.

The company said that with the acquisition it aims to grow its audience via marketing, animation and social media sales.

Explosive Alan will continue to operate as a standalone division led by its founders.

The production company will work with the Fourth Floor business units such as Fourth Floor Creative, which is overseen by Michael Thomas.

Fourth Floor CEO Rich Keith said, "The acquisition demonstrates our ambition to grow and become the first agency group to understand how influencers and social platforms have changed, alongside consumers’ habits to find, consume and engage with content."
