Former EA exec joins SCi

SCi Entertainment has announce the appointment of Phil Rogers as corporate development director.

SCi Entertainment has announce the appointment of Phil Rogers as corporate development director.

Rogers previously spent three years as vice president of corporate development at Electronic Arts, where his main role was to seek out potential acquisition.

According to a statement, his role at SCi will involve "identifying strategic areas for development and assessing market opportunities".

Rogers commented, "SCi is currently at a very exciting stage in terms of games development, content and promise. Combined with a clear company direction this is an excellent time in the company's evolution for me to be joining the team."

Bill Ennis, commercial director at SCi, added, "Phil has a proven track record in the video games industry and we look forward to benefiting from his expertise and experience."

Rogers' appointment is effective immediately.
