ForeVR Games has raised $10 million in a series A round led by Lobby Capital.

The funding round also included participation from existing investors, namely VC funds Bessemer Venture Partners and Galaxy Interactive.

The company, created in 2020 by Zynga veterans Marcus Segal and Mike Pagano Doom, aims to use the funding to create the "Wii Sports of VR," continuing to focus on family-friendly games.

Since its inception, ForeVR Games has released VR versions of darts, cornhole, and bowling.

Last year, the studio raised $8.5 million from Bessemer Venture Partners, Galaxy Interactive, All Star Capital, Mark Pincus, and Emmett Shear.

Buddy Arnheim, general partner at Lobby Capital, commented: "The ForeVR Games team is expanding the global audience for VR by creating mass market, accessible games. We look forward to partnering with this extraordinary team as they look to cement a position for themselves in VR that capitalises on the interest in casual gaming the same way that Wii Sports did for Nintendo."
