Focus Home Interactive Unveils a New Sherlock Holmes Mystery
November 16, 2006 -- Focus Home Interactive is pleased to announce that they will be bringing a new Sherlock Holmes mystery game to North America in March 2007. In Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened, players will take on the role of the famed detective as he attempts to unravel the dark secrets of a cult of Cthulhu. The world of The Awakened is filled with dark corners, complex puzzles and mysterious characters, all illustrated in full 3D with interaction handled through the familiar point-and-click interface. Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened will arrive in North American retail in March 2007.
In development by Frogwares, Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened combines the eerie mysticism of H.P. Lovecraft's Cthulhu mythos with the mystery-solving powers of Sherlock Holmes. The Awakened is the first fully 3D Sherlock Holmes game, and will feature rich graphics and detailed environments. Fans of the mystery genre will feel right at home with the point-and-click interface as they explore five distinctly chilling environments while solving mysteries and completing puzzles based on object physics and lighting. With 60 unique characters roaming the game world, it will be difficult to tell who is friend or foe in this, Sherlock Holmes' most challenging, and horrifying, adventure.
