Fallout Shelter surpasses $90m lifetime revenue

Player spending reaches highest point since September 2015

Fallout Shelter has generated $93 million revenue across iOS and Android since launching three years ago.

According to Sensor Tower Store Intelligence, revenue for the mobile base-builder has also reached its highest point since September 2015.

On June 15, 2018 player spending reached $212,000 compared to the previous high of September 14, 2015 when it grossed $237,000.

The US accounts for the majority of spending, with 59 per cent of the total coming from the region. Spending is evenly split between iOS and Android with 49 and 51 per cent respectively.

"At its current pace, we project that Fallout Shelter revenue on mobile will reach a gross total of $100 million before the end of 2018," commented Sensor Tower founder Oliver Yeh.

"Bethesda is set to leverage three years' worth of experience marketing the game for its impending launch of Elder Scrolls: Blades on iOS and Android later this year."

For the record: This article has been amended to remove an incorrect statement suggesting Bethesda was showcasing a demo of Fallout Shelter at QuakeCon.
