Ex-TGC vets form new browser games studio

45-strong team planned for Berlin-based Silver Style, following TGC bankruptcy

Former The Games Company development director Ronny Knauth has revealed his new venture, Silver Style Studios GmbH.

The Berlin-based developer also boasts a number of ex-TGC leads, recruited following that studio's recent financial difficulties.

TGC filed for bankruptcy in July, but claims to be continuing work on a number of projects.

Sebastian Tusk (technical director), Daniel Potter (art director), Stefan Hoffmann (lead project panager) and Jan Lachnit (lead game designer) are all on board for the company's initial plan to create two "high quality" browser games next year.

Knauth, the new studio's MD, also revealed that he planned on growing Silver Style's team to 45 by the end of this year - and that social games are also on the agenda.
