European studio boss Michael Denny leaves Sony after 25 years

Denny appointed head of studio at Lego franchise developer TT Games

Former Sony executive Michael Denny has been appointed vice president and head of studio at TT Games.

Previously Denny oversaw internal studios such as Guerilla Games, Media Molecule and Sony's London Studio as senior vice president of Sony Interactive Entertainment Worldwide Studios Europe; he also oversaw external developers working on exclusive third-party titles.

Now, after 25 years with Sony, Denny will take over strategy, execution and business operations of TT Games and its portfolio of titles, including the Lego franchise.

In a statement, TT Games said Denny will report to Playdemic studio head Paul George to "introduce a new vision" for the company.

"We are thrilled to welcome Michael to the team as we look towards an exciting future for TT Games and implement a new strategy for the studio," said Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment president David Haddad.

"Michael's extensive experience in game development and studio leadership, along with his games industry acumen, make him a perfect fit for this important role."
