E3: NCSoft plans to bring MMOGs to the masses

The firm, whose Lineage title is the most popular subscription-based MMORPG in the world, plans to exhibit several "genre-breaking" games which it hopes will attract a brand new audience to MMO gaming

Speaking to GamesIndustry.biz, NCSoft's Sean Kang and Geoff Heath outlined the company's ambitious plans for expansion into new genres and new markets, and talked about some of the difficulties facing publishers in the MMO sector.
