Disney's Game Café Teams With Leading Developers To Expand Offerings

More Than 35 New Games to Be Added to Popular Casual Games Site

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

North Hollywood, Calif. - April 25, 2006 -- Disney's Game Café (www.disneysgamecafe.com), the first downloadable games collection from Disney Online specifically tailored for a "grown-up audience", today announced plans to more than double the site's offerings through a dozen new distribution deals with such leading online game developers and publishers as WildTangent Inc., PlayFirst, Inc., HipSoft, Sandlot Games and iWin. On the heels of Game Café's launch last November, more than 35 new titles will be rolled out on the site through May.

The selection of new games ranges from puzzle and word games to action-oriented, arcade-style games to casual, classic games. All of the games are designed to be easily downloaded and played offline either alone or with friends and family.

"We are thrilled to follow-up our launch with a significant expansion," said Steve Parkis, vice president of premium products for Disney Online. "Now as we near 60 titles, the site truly delivers a diverse, exciting selection of games that offer endless entertainment."

Included in the new lineup will be Diner Dash 2: Restaurant Rescue, PlayFirst's highly-anticipated second installment in the popular Diner Dash series, and WildTangent's popular Polar series including Polar Bowler and Polar Tubing. Other notable hits include:

  • Always Neat's Twistingo

  • HipSoft's Gem Shop and Flip Words

  • iWin's Family Feud, Jewel Quest and Mah Jong Quest

  • KatGames' Fireworks Extravaganza

  • Sandlot Games' Cake Mania, Tradewinds II and Tradewinds Legends

  • TikGames' Cinema Tycoon, Gold Fever and Fortune Tiles

Games on Disney Game Café are available for download with prices ranging from $9.95 to $19.95. Additional information and free trials are available at www.disneysgamecafe.com.
