Digi-Capital, Octopus Investments join Games Invest 2011
Financing event taking place in London next week
Digi-Capital and Octopus Investments have been added to the line-up of next week's Games Invest 2011, taking place at the Eurogamer Expo on September 22.
Games investment bank Digi-Capital focuses on Europe, North America and Asia, and also publishes the 2011 Global Video Games Investment Review. Octopus Investments currently has £2.5 billion in assets under management and invests in the UK media industry.
Games Invest 2011, in conjunction with GamesIndustry.biz, offers small to medium-sized games and technology companies an opportunity to network and pitch to investors, publishers and other financiers, as well as take part in a morning of discussions and sessions looking at financing opportunities in the games business.
Companies already signed up for the event include London Venture Partners, Sega, NESTA, Sony Computer Entertainment, Sheridans and We R Interactive.
