Data Design Interactive Wins the race for Cannonball 8000 licence...

Stourbridge, England - Data Design Interactive are pleased to announce that they have signed up the computer game rights to CANNONBALL 8000.

Stewart Green MD said "With 12 driving titles published, we are something of experts in the racing games, but Cannonball 8000 is something different, the first to get past the post is only one way to play, as in the real cannonball 8000, it is the taking part of the experience that makes it special. That is the spirit that we will capture in this exciting new title.

Rally organiser Conrad Wall says "the route and locations have all been carefully chosen on the criteria that they are on major transport routes and are proper party destinations! Cannonball 8000 has now become Europe's premier non-professional rally event and rightly so; we have the best cars, driven by the greatest people-from film stars to high-profile media personalities to ordinary petrol heads. There's no other event that mixes different people from so many walks of life".

A 72hr race across 5 countries, with Spearmint Rhinos lapdancing girls, champagne parties every night, and prizes for actions such as the Weird and Wonderful Award, Blingest M*ther F**ker Award, Style Award, Fuel Glugger Award, Determination Award, Hungaroring Circuit Award. The game features, picking up babes, parking tickets, police chases, and a few smashes along the way, oh and you have a race mode too! This is the first really different take on racing, we are all really really excited - and thats without the lapdancers!"
