Crysis 2 keeps top spot in UK charts

Zumba Fitness jumps to number two as 3DS games fall out of top ten

With a decline in sales of only 35 per cent, EA and Crytek's first person shooter Crysis 2 has remained at the UK number one spot for the second week running, despite a raft of new releases.

Thanks to Crysis 2's success EA has now occupied the number one position in the multiformat charts for six out of the 13 weeks of the year so far.

At number two though was 505 Games' dancing and fitness title Zumba Fitness, which achieved the highest-ranked chart position ever for the publisher. Currently released on Wii and Xbox 360, with a PlayStation 3 version also imminent, 95 per cent of all sales for the title were on Nintendo's home console.

Lego Star Wars III saw a decline in sales of only 29 per cent, but was still pushed into third place, just ahead of Need for Speed spin-off Shift 2: Unleashed at number four. Homefront sales at number five saw a decline of 51 per cent from the previous week.

The third highest new entry of the week was EA's Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12: The Masters at number six, with THQ's WWE All Stars a place behind at number seven.

The other new entry in the top 40 this week is Sony's MotorStorm: Apocalypse, which debuted at number 17 following its last minute delay in the wake of the Japanese earthquake disaster.

Following the launch of the 3DS the previous week there is now only one title in the top 20: Capcom's Super Street Fighter IV: 3D Edition at number 16.
