Los Gatos, Calif. - September 20, 2005 - Cryptic Studios, Inc., developers of the highly successful massively multiplayer online game City of HeroesTM, today announced that Clarinda Merripen has joined the company as Vice President of Operations.
"As Cryptic continues to grow, I want to ensure it remains a great place to work," said Michael Lewis, Cryptic's CEO. "Clarinda's passion and expertise for games and operations is a unique combination that will help us make that happen."
"Two areas in the game industry are growing faster than any other: MMOs and Operations," said Merripen. "Cryptic's kind invitation allows me the opportunity to do both as well as working with the most dynamic, innovative people in the industry."
