Former Amstrad man joins as Head of Technical Operations.

Alten8 Limited a UK based game developer and publisher, would like to confirm the appointment of Chris Bailey as head of technical operations for Alten8 , based at its Luton office.
Chris will lead the team dealing with projects based on retro games , ROM emulations and other licensed products , both directly for Alten8 , and also retro based console projects which Alten8 currently is carrying out for other third party developers and publishers.
Chris comes from a long established career of programming within blue chip companies , originally starting back in the 80's for Amstrad , which gives him a unique insight into programming for retro based systems. Alten8 also has a legacy of retro development hardware , from the Spectrum , to Amiga , to C64 , moving through the whole development hardware of console history. Along with the hundreds of licensed retro games to the company , this places Alten8 in a potentially unique position to work on retro games for new systems.
Alten8 welcomes contact from any company wishing to discuss ways to exploit their older retro technology systems , or retro game licenses , in the channels Alten8 is already working with.
