Capcom to merge Euro and US mobile teams

One brand to "minimise any miscommunication in the marketplace"

Capcom is to merge its European and North American mobile teams in an effort to maintain product quality across territories.

All brands will now come under the Capcom Mobile name to "minimise any miscommunication in the marketplace," according to the publisher.

"Moving forward we will be working towards one strategy of producing great games with strong brands to technically high standards across both Europe and North America," commented Midori Yuasa, president of Capcom.

"By combining forces we can execute a balanced portfolio of titles on a global level, whilst maintaining a focus on providing products tailored to individual territories."

With Yuasa leading the team, Matt Gillis, executive VP of publishing, will take control of commercial activities, with head of studios Manabu Seko overseeing research and design functions.
