Call of Duty: Mobile surpasses 35m downloads in just three days

Mobile spin-off becomes No. 1 app in over 100 countries on App Store

Call of Duty: Mobile is enjoying record-breaking success just days after launch, surpassing 35 million downloads.

Developed by Tencent-owned TiMi Studios, Call of Duty: Mobile reached the milestone faster than any other mobile first-person or third-person action game.

According to an announcement from publisher Activision, the game also reached No. 1 ranking on iOS -- including non-gaming apps -- in over 100 countries.

The download numbers include both Google Play and the App Store. This success comes without the game yet being available in China.

Call of Duty: Mobile released on October 1 in all countries where Google Play and the App Store is supported, except for mainland China, Vietnam, and Belgium.
