Call for Papers: expert speakers wanted for Game Developer Conference GCDC 2006

GC Developer Conference (GCDC)
(21 - 23 August 2006)




The submission phase for conference contents has now begun. With immediate effect, the Leipzig Fair is calling for speaker and topic proposals for Europe's most important game developer conference, GCDC, due to be held in Leipzig from 21 to 23 August 2006. Interesting keynote speeches and contributions are wanted, picking up on the new trends in the topic areas of Development, Business, Serious Games and Mobile Entertainment, and examining these from different angles. The need is for user reports, market insights and overviews, trend reports and evaluations of new technologies. Application papers and more detailed information on the Call for Papers can be accessed at www.gcdc-germany.com.

This is now the fourth time that game developers, publishers and academics from all over the world are expected at the GCDC. Immediately after the GCDC on 24 August 2006, the GC begins, Europe's benchmark fair for interactive entertainment, infotainment and edutainment.

Springboard for student assistants at the GCDC

The interest of the organisers in attracting student assistants shows that the GCDC can also be a springboard for the younger generation. Any student who has organisational talent, an interest in making contact with internationally famous game developers and would like to find out at first hand about the latest developments on the games sector, should apply online on the GCDC homepage, keyword "Call for Student Assistants".
