Bleszinski to give first public lecture "in years"

Epic's lead designer to discuss marketing, story and industry's future at GDC

Epic Games design director Cliff Bleszinski is one of the latest speakers announced for this year's Game Developers Conference in San Francisco.

The colourful Gears of War and Unreal co-creator "has not done a public lecture in years and has a lot to say", with his 60 minute talk planned to encompass the link between game marketing and design, his belief in story, and the current and future state of the gaming industry.

The talk will also offer "fun tips such as how to use the seven deadly sins to make a better game."

Also joining the speaker roster in San Francisco at the end of February is Nintendo veteran Hideki Konno, who will discuss the upcoming 3DS and the making of Donkey Kong Country Returns.
