BIT.TRIP dev: Indie scene "out of control"

Alex Neuse "sick of playing half-done games riddled with bugs"

Gaijin Games' Alex Neuse has expressed concern that that independent gaming may be overpopulated.

"I think that the indie scene is out of control," the BIT.TRIP developer told GameSetWatch. "There are so many games being made, it's hard to keep track of them all.

"This isn't necessarily a bad thing, but... I find it hard to set aside the time to give these games the play time they deserve."

Neuse was " sick of playing half-done games that are riddled with bugs" and hoped to "see more games actually get finished and make it to market."

BIT.TRIP.RUNNER is nominated for the Excellent In Visual Art award at the 2011 Indepedent Games Festival.
