Birdies Road launch
French developer Punchers Impact sets up new studio focussed on action/platformers.
Boulogne Billancourt, September 23rd
Founded by Guillaume Descamps and Jérôme Amouyal, respectively studio director and creative director of Punchers Impact, Birdies Road is a new studio for video games development. Complementary to Punchers Impact developments, Birdies Road will focus on producing original action/platformer games, financed by multiple funds. These projects are heading towards digital distribution on consoles and PC.
While establishing Birdies Road as a new valuable studio, Guillaume Descamps will keep creating new IPs and supervising Punchers Impact productions for years to come, as studio director.
Birdies Road is already working on its first game (PEGI +18) due for release end of 2011 on Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and PC, co- financed and published by the Mindscape group.
