BAFTA signs with IGN for games promotion

Will also stream movie press conference this month

Entertainment site IGN has inked a year-long deal to promote the game BAFTAs, to be announced on March 16.

IGN becomes the official online partner for the GAME British Academy Video Game Awards and will also stream the Orange British Academy Film Awards press conference on January 18.

"BAFTA recognises and celebrates talent in creative mediums around the world, so we're delighted to be partnering with the Academy to bring these prestigious events to IGN's UK audience and our global network of entertainment fans," commented Rich Keen, marketing director of IGN UK.

"Our online partnership will be innovative and wide reaching, so we're looking forward to developing a long-lasting relationship."
