Wolfenstein II has five nominations at the Nordic Game Awards 2018

But Ultra Ultra's Echo leads the pack with six, Tarsier Studios' Little Nightmares and Image & Form's SteamWorld Dig 2 close behind

MachineGames's Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus has been nominated for five awards at this year's Nordic Game Conference, including Nordic Game of the Year and Best Game Design.

Both Tarsier Studios' Little Nightmares and Gears for Breakfast's A Hat in Time were nominated in four categories, while Housemarque's Nex Machina and Image & Form's SteamWorld Dig 2 both received three.

The awards are the centrepiece of the Nordic Game Conference 2018, and the winners will be announced at the event on May 24. This year's NGC has already announced its first wave of speakers, which includes indie luminaries like Campo Santo, Buried Signal and Stoic.
