Amazon selling out of PSVR across Europe

Supplier limiting second batch of headsets to one per customer

Sony's virtual reality headset, which received a date and price yesterday, is already sold out in France, Germany and Italy via Amazon. It's not known how many units were allocated to the retailer in each territory.

After selling out of an initial allocation in the UK after around ten minutes, a second batch is now on sale in Great Britain, but Amazon has limited sales to one per customer and has been unable to provide a guaranteed delivery date. UK retailer GAME is asking for a £100 deposit on all PSVR pre-orders.

Yesterday's announcement pinned the price of a PSVR headset at £349, $399, €399 and 44,980 Yen - significantly lower than either of its major competitors. However, those prices do not include either the PlayStation Eye camera required for all PSVR use, or the Move controllers which many games will use.
