We have the facts in our systems. During 2010 we processed more than 560 000 orders to 325 000 consumers, and the new year has already started tremendously well, way above our growth expectations. Particularly for PC/Mac games and Video on Demand (VOD), consumers clearly enjoy the convenience of downloads and streaming,” says Anders Emblad, CEO of Ztorm. “Our growth last year came from existing customers which bodes even better for the new year.  We have signed on numerous retailers and we will be more than doubling our customer base in the coming months, as they launch their e-stores.”

Ztorm has tripled its capacity in order to be well prepared for the coming growth and will also be rolling out new technologies during the next 6 months. “For example, our PC Game Rental module is being tested as we speak, we aim to be launching it during Q2/Q3 this year,” continues Emblad.

As it already dominates in the Nordic region, Ztorm has focused its efforts on geographical expansion in the last year and new retailers in key European markets have been signed on. “We have only scratched the surface of the global market and we are finding that our solution is extremely competitive. This, together with the growing demand from the consumers, means that the coming years should be very interesting,” says Emblad. “We will be announcing some of the new retail partnerships and new technologies in the coming weeks and months”.
