Zinkia Entertainment unveils 3D action adventure console game for Shuriken School at E3.

For Immediate Release 18 May 2005

At the games industry show E3 (18-20 May, Los Angeles), Zinkia Entertainment (Spain) is unveiling a 3D action adventure console game, inspired by their TV animation series SHURIKEN SCHOOL, currently being co-produced with Xilam Animation (France).

Combining action, humour and fantasy, the Shuriken School console game allows the player to take the role of Eizan Kaburagi, lead character in the TV series, who attends an extraordinary ninja school. He sets out to save his world, searching for the legendary ninja master's ancient secrets, attaining new weapons, and developing new skills and abilities. The game includes a wide variety of missions and challenges combining numerous game mechanics.

High quality animated sequences are incorporated in the game, which includes more than 60 gaming hours distributed in a compelling narrative, with more than 100 plots. Stunning audio effects and a dramatic 3D visual style are used throughout.

The target audience for the console game is 6-12 year olds, but the entertainment format and use of complex technology makes it attractive to the entire family. This is an action game with a non-explicit violent content based on the honourable use of the martial arts.

Shuriken School is set to air on the small screen from 2006, with TV deals already inked with Jetix Europe, for Europe, the Middle East and Latin America, and Nicktoons in the US.

Victor M. López, Managing Director of Zinkia Entertainment, added : 'We are very excited to be unveiling Shuriken School at E3. With TV deals already in place with Jetix Europe and Nicktoons US, we believe that this quirky comedy, with a martial arts twist, is set to become a major kids brand.'

On the technical front, Shuriken School employs Criterion Software (EA) Renderware, which is a high quality proven software which enables and guarantees the use of the product in all platforms (PS2, XBox, PC).

Madrid-based creative factory Zinkia Entertainment is planning delivery of the console game for the first quarter of 2007.
