XL Devises Epic Gears of War LAN Tournament!
London, England. Thursday 9th November 2006: Matchbox360, in association with AlienPants are pleased to announce a sponsorship agreement with Microsoft for Matchbox360's XL LAN 2006. XL will be hosting one of the first Gears of War LAN tournaments in the United Kingdom, which will take place at this year's MatchBox360 XL LAN on the 25th and 26th November 2006.
As the countdown to XL continues, gaming enthusiasts will soon begin an epic journey to the Birmingham National Exhibition Centre (NEC). Upon arrival, attendees of MatchBox360 XL LAN 2006 will be able to enjoy freeplay and a free to enter tournament on the year's most anticipated Xbox 360 game, Gears of War. Gamers will be battling to win a whole host of fantastic prizes, including limited edition Gears of War faceplates for the Xbox 360, courtesy of Microsoft.
Matchbox360 XL is the UK's largest Xbox and Xbox 360 LAN event and will be taking place at the Birmingham National Exhibition Centre (NEC) on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th of November 2006.
