Xbox Live games coming to Windows 8

Microsoft announces the first wave of Xbox Live games for new OS

Xbox Live's Larry Hryb has revealed the first run of Xbox Live-enabled titles coming to Windows 8 when it launches on October 26. The list features titles from Rovio, Gameloft, ZeptoLab, Halfbrick Studios, and Haunted Temple Studios.

Highlights include two Angry Birds games, the episodic game Adrea, BlazBlue Calamity Trigger, Skulls of the Shogun, Fruit Ninja, and IloMilo. The full list can be found here.

Users can find the titles on the pre-installed Xbox Games app and on the Windows Store. All titles will have Xbox Achievements, leaderboards, multiplayer gaming, and full Xbox Live friend lists.
