Bazix have extended the lineup of the online retro gaming platform WOOMB.net with the classic RPG game 'Xak - The Art of Visual Stage'. Released only in Japan in 1989, the game is now finally available in an English edition. Micro Cabin is the sixth software publisher to license their classic software titles to WOOMB.net.
Micro Cabin released Xak - The Art of Visual Stage as part of the Xak RPG series. This RPG series has been very popular and succesful due to the great storylines, gameplay, art and music. In Xak you take on the role of young Latok, descendant of the god of war. You are given the task to defeat the legendary demon Badu who was defeated 250 years ago by Duel, the god of war. Latok's adventure is full of swords, demons, magic and mystery and will eventually result in a climax of epic proportions.

Established in 2004, Bazix is a Dutch partnership that distributes and localizes retro games on modern computers, consoles and mobiles. As the representative of MSX Association, Bazix is also involved in the licensing of the MSX computer system and its trademarks. In October 2006, Bazix launched the online game retro service http://www.woomb.net/ which is the first retro gaming service to offer Japanese retro game classics translated to English.
