WOW! GlobalFun to exclusively Publish and Develop groundbreaking mobile word game, Word On Word

Karlskrona, 23rd October 2007 - GlobalFun, a wireless entertainment Publishing and Development company, and Ord & Music Production, a production company for WEB and PC games, have teamed up to deliver the "Word On Word" experience on mobile.

GlobalFun has developed the mobile version of the existing WEB based game and will also exclusively handle the distribution on a world wide basis.

Word On Word, WOW in short, is a quick rewarding casual game where language skills are being used and improved. The goal of the game is to make as many and as long words as possible using the letters that are dropping down on your game-board. Up to 18 000 words can be made depending on language and with the use of jokers.

The letters used and in what order they drop down on the game board is called a Series. WOW supports 10 000 series for each language. Thanks to this clever series system, users can play the exact same Series either on web or mobile enabling true cross-platform competitions and usage. Highscores can be saved locally as well as on a global on-line highscore lists.

WOW on the WEB is currently available on some of the largest newspaper portals in Scandinavia as well as on the Swedish public service radio (SR) WEB sites. Expansion to other markets is ongoing.

The mobile version of WOW supports 9 languages and release is scheduled during November 2007.

"The WEB version of WOW has been a success story for us in our local market with over 2 000 000 games played. We now look forward to see GlobalFun taking this fantastic game concept to the mobile space on a global basis." Commented Fred Håkanson, CEO of Ord & Musik.

"WOW has proven itself on the WEB where launched and we strongly believe that the game concept will do great on the mobile. I really like the fact that the same great end-user experience can be transferred directly from the on-line game to the mobile platform." Said Marcus Johansson, CEO of GlobalFun AB.
