World War ZeroTM – when will it end?

Rebellion, the UK super-developer, is already making plans to expand the ‘World War Zero’ licence.

News release

27th August 2004

For immediate release

The recent release, currently enjoying a top 10 position in the UK games chart, has all the hallmarks of an exciting franchise according to Rebellion CEO and Creative Director, Jason Kingsley.

Jason Kingsley said, "As soon as we acquired the IP licence, we've looked at varying mediums to push the concept further. So far, we have commissioned a comic strip to appear within our 2000 AD publications, but we believe it can go further, ideally into game sequels and possibly even movies."

Rebellion strive to produce innovative games, but also to utilise its company resources including motion picture production, motion capture studios and comic publications, to give a complete entertainment experience to the consumer.

Jason continues, "Hollywood has used this business model to great effect, the recent comic book character movies and games being one example. What we offer to the consumer is on par with Hollywood in terms of quality and engagement albeit on a smaller scale!"

Rebellion will be exhibiting and demonstrating World War Zero at EGN from 1st-3rd September at Stand TI22.
