World Cyber Games 2010

FIFA 10 and StarCraft: Brood War join the line-up.

New York, NY – 14 Apr, 2010 – World Cyber Games Inc. (WCG), organizer of the premier international video game competition and festival, announced today, three additional games to be featured as official game titles in the WCG 2010 Grand Final in Los Angeles this September. Worldwide fan favorites “FIFA Soccer 10” and “StarCraft: Brood War,” join the popular mobile franchise, “Asphalt 5,” adding to the diverse 2010 Grand Final title roster.

“FIFA Soccer 10” and “StarCraft: Brood War” return to the WCG Grand Final as two of the most beloved franchises since the inception of the World Cyber Games ten years ago. These titles have served as the backdrop for some of the most intense and memorable moments in competition history and 2010 should be no exception. Participants will aim to oust Joshua Begehr (SK_KROne) of Germany who battled his way to the coveted “FIFA Soccer 09” gold medal, while gamers from all over the world will try to beat South Korea’s Jae-Dong Lee (JaeDong) in “StarCraft: Brood War” to earn gold medal supremacy.

The official additional titles announced today are as follows:

PC

• FIFA Soccer 10 (EA, Sports)

• StarCraft: Brood War (Blizzard, RTS)

Mobile

• Asphalt 5 (Gameloft, Racing)

WCG announced the first round of titles last month which featured a total of seven official game titles and one promotional game title:

Official game titles - “Warcraft III” (PC, Blizzard, RTS), “Counter-Strike” (PC, Valve, FPS), “TrackMania Nations Forever” (PC, Nadeo, Racing), “Carom 3D” (PC, Neoact, Sports), “Guitar Hero 5” (Xbox360, Neversoft, Music), “Forza Motorsport 3” (Xbox360, Turn10, Racing), “Tekken 6” (Xbox360, Namco Bandai, Fighting)

Promotional game title – “Lost Saga” (PC, IO Entertainment, Action)

The WCG 2010 Grand Final Los Angeles will be held in September with a total of 10 official game titles (six PC, three Xbox360, one mobile). There will be another announcement for promotional titles in the near future. For more information please visit www.wcg.com
