Reverb Communications doing the PR for free-to-play Facebook/web game launching this spring.

Hong Kong, China – March 15, 2010 – Dinglepharb Studios, a studio developing social and mobile games with a twist, announced today it has chosen Reverb Communications to serve as its agency of record. Under the agreement, Reverb Communications will handle marketing and public relations initiatives for Woldtown, a colorful and friendly free-to-play social game for Facebook and the web launching in Spring 2010.

“Woldtown is a unique interactive social experience, and we were looking to hire an agency that had the vision and strategic support for a vast and unique title as this,” said Nathan Agulto, CEO of Dinglepharb Studios. “With their proven track record of successfully launching both free-to-play and MMO titles, paired with their outstanding work ethic, Reverb was the obvious choice.”

Reverb Communications will create customized marketing programs and public relations strategies for Dinglepharb Studios as well as advise them on existing events and programs to maximize product visibility for further penetration of the interactive social market. In addition, Reverb will be responsible for all corporate communications, consumer events and promotion of any future Dinglepharb Studios properties.

“Under Dinglepharb’s guiding hand, Woldtown has been transformed into one of the most refreshing and downright fun games I’ve seen on Facebook,” said Tracie Snitker, founder and vice president of public relations, Reverb Communications. “We can’t wait to help spread the word about Woldtown and watch it grow into a social casual gaming powerhouse. This fully 3D, free-to-play interactive experience is the intuitive and expansive family-friendly game Facebook users have been looking for!”

Based on the popular Chinese social game VVDragon, Woldtown is a vast virtual world ready for players to explore! Hailing from the beautiful planet Kream at the opposite end of the universe, the Wolds are a race of miniature, magical dragons that can fly, morph into all kinds of different objects, and love to throw pies at each other! Play as one of 24 Wold avatars, earning WoldCash through a series of jobs, quests, explore over 100 distinct location and play spectacular mini-games. Play online with your Facebook friends, but watch out for flying pies! Use WoldCash to upgrade your pies, throwing abilities, and even buy shields to protect you from your friend’s pies!
