Wideload reveals Rebel Without A Pulse

Chicago-based Wideload Games, the studio formed by Bungie co-founder Alex Seropian and a number of other Bungie veterans who left after the completion of Halo, has announced details of its first project.

Titled Rebel Without A Pulse, the game is powered by the Halo engine and, in an unusual twist, puts the player into the boots of decomposing hero Stubbs the Zombie, who takes on a modern-day city using his own carcass and the weapons of possessed foes.

The game is set to be released on Xbox, PC and Mac next Summer, and is being published by Aspyr - a firm which has significant interests in music and film, but is now making its first big move into console games.
